Keep my eyes shut— I don’t want to see what lies ahead.
Devastated dreams, scattered pieces of a shattered life.
Sanity eluding, encircled in a web of madness.
Forgetting peace.
Keep my ears deaf. I don’t want to hear—
My tortured screams, the silence unbroken
Ringing so loud-driving me mad.
A leaking faucet..my life drips slowly out of me.
A remembrance of the sweetness I use to hear.
Keep my mouth shut— I don’t want to speak the awful truth.
The lies of death, they all become a monstrous reality.
A word of black..my soul gets darker with every day..
Realness unthought of has now taken me away……
