My scarlet sin is plain to see-
The veins I’ve cut, the wounds that bleed.
So many fights; So many tears.
I’ve swept aside so many years.
The tub is dark- the water drained,
With ebbing life the tile’s stained.
My eyes are glass. My heart is stone.
One final gasp- a hollow moan.
The souls above – a watch they keep
As I embrace eternal sleep.
